Day 1 | Lagoons and Altiplano Landscapes

Departure from San Pedro de Atacama
We begin the adventure heading toward the Bolivian border. At Hito Cajón we complete immigration procedures and switch to the 4x4 vehicle to start our journey across the altiplano.

Laguna Verde and Licancabur Volcano
Our first great Bolivian postcard: the waters of Laguna Verde contrasting with the commanding silhouette of the Licancabur Volcano and the vastness of the Andes.

Dalí Desert
We cross one of the most surreal landscapes of the altiplano, where mountains, rock formations and wide plains evoke the paintings of Salvador Dalí.

Chalviri Hot Springs
A perfect pause to relax in natural hot springs, enjoying the silence and the extraordinary high-altitude landscapes.

Sol de Mañana Geysers
We discover an impressive geothermal field of fumaroles, steam and bubbling mud pools in full activity, at almost 5,000 metres above sea level.

Day 2 | Rock Valleys and Andean Villages

Tomas Lakha: rock art and necropolis
We start the day discovering archaeological remains and ancient rock paintings that reveal part of the history and culture of the altiplano communities.

Valle de las Rocas and Italia Perdida
We travel through a striking setting of giant volcanic formations shaped by time, among them the enigmatic Italia Perdida.

Vinto and Catal Lagoons
We continue among calm high-Andean lagoons surrounded by mountains and sweeping landscapes, in one of the least travelled stretches of the journey.

Alota, Culpina K and San Cristóbal
We cross small altiplano settlements until we reach San Cristóbal and its distinctive church, coming closer to the life and culture of this remote Bolivian region.

Train Cemetery

- Cancellations with 10 days or more before the service date: 90% refund.
- Cancellations with 9 days or less before the service date are not eligible for a refund.

It is the passenger's responsibility to be on time at the indicated meeting point; otherwise, the passenger must pay for and arrange their own return transport.
- Failure to show up at departure time, without prior documented cancellation, or late arrival, means the TOTAL loss of the amount paid for the SERVICE.
